Potlucks
Our potlucks are some of our most popular events. All are welcome, whether long-time vegetarians or non-vegetarians interested in trying out a vegetarian dinner. If you are new to vegetarianism, this is a great place to sample some fantastic new dishes.
Each year we host a compassionate Thanksgiving pot luck. This event includes vegan foods only.

The following are some guidelines to help you get the most out of your potluck experience.
Please bring a dish to feed twice the number in your party. Vegan dishes are preferred, so that all can enjoy them.
Purchased dishes are welcome.
Please bring a card and label the dish as vegan or not. Also list the ingredients in your dish. This is for the benefit of those on special diets or who may have food allergies.
On your first visit to the buffet, please take only small portions so that those at the end of the line will be able to try all of the dishes. You can always come back for seconds!
We are striving to make our events waste-free. Disposable plates, cups, and utensils are not provided at our potlucks. We ask that you bring your own place setting, tableware, serving utensils, and beverage.
Many of our potlucks are held at the Friends Meeting House. If you use any items from their kitchen, please wash, dry, and return the items to the shelves.
At the Thanksgiving event only, we provide reuseable plates, cups, and tableware. These items should be rinsed after use and placed in a designated box in the kitchen. We are also experimenting with biodegradeable tableware.
